Ohhh the famous Maho Beach in St. Maarten…. The place to go if you enjoy going to the beach working on your tan, and at the same time getting sand blasted by a jet that is about to take off. Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) is famous for their runway being very close to a public beach. Plane spotters and tourists can enjoy watching airplanes coming in on their final approach, or watch them take off while having the “best” seat in the house.
