Share This > These short landings demonstrated at an air show are impressive for such big aircraft as the C-17 and A400M. Obviously to compare the two aircraft with their capabilities is hard, because both aircraft are so different. In regards to the C-17, no jet engine can put as much thrust FORWARD as it can out the back, while the turboprop A400M with reversible propellers can. And the C-17 also weighs a lot more and has to land at a higher speed. But both aircraft can land on incredible short runways for sure. Watch the video in HD and leave a comment below.
